Me: So what are you planning on doing on Valentines Day?
Her: Nothing actually.
Me: Seriously, no plans… party?
Her: I didnt even think about it actually. Anyway I am totally against the idea of Valentines day

The Compass…
I looked down at the Compass and the Compass asked me “Which way is north?”. I pointed towards north and it said “thank you, what would I do without you?” I just smiled…
Petting Tigers…
As a young boy, I had the privilege of listening to a lot of stories from my grandmother. There were a couple of stories that stood out for me, for the simple reason that I listened them the most.
One was the story of Chandrahasa. The special liking to this story wasn’t coz it was my namesake but for a fact that it had all the amazing ingredients that make a great period story. I do have to give the story credit as it gave me a lot of ideas and concepts that slowly built into my persona.
Conversations With Her – Quarter Life…
Her: Off late most of my friends are going thru what they call a quarter life crisis.
Me: Hmmm… I didnt know there was something like a quarter life crisis. I hv heard about a half life crisis… but…
Her: Well thats what they call it. Thats what they “all” call it.
Me: Hmmm
Her: You know, It would be a lie if I told you that I didnt think of the things they thought or didnt feel what they think they are experiencing. But you know calling it a crisis is probably a bit too much.
Trip To SE Asia – Sri Lanka (Day 1-2)
The first stop on the 12 day vacation was on an island also known as the Emerald Isle. The stay at Colombo was not a prerequisite on any of our travel plans but since the packaged tour was organized in collaboration with Sri Lankan Airlines, a mandatory one day stop was made on the Island.
Honestly one day is not enough time to get an opinion about any place, let alone a country. But Sri Lanka reminded me a lot of South India. The people, places, climate and hell even the accent seemed awfully similar :P
