In the best Grand Prix of the year Kimi took the Chequered flag to win the second time in a row at Spa Francorchamps. Fernando Alonso crossed the finish line second to leave only a mear fromality to be finished in Brazil.

The race was wet almost throughout still not a drop of rain fell during the race. The top teams ran their cars from start to finish on intermediate tyres and the gamble payed off.
