Before Javed Akhtar wrote the beautiful poems in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, he wrote a gem of a poem in another Farhan Akhtar starrer. Rock On sent the critcs raving and won the National Award and many other awards, but I felt there wasnt much justice done to the most beautiful part of the movie.

Phir Dekhiye, is one of those songs that makes me wish I knew how to play the guitar. Its words intermingle with the strumming so well it feels incomplete without the score. The words are so well written that the meanings of the words take multiple levels. This is one of the best philosophical songs out there that bends itself to your thoughts…
