As we entered Shringeri we had to make an unscheduled stop at the outskirts of the city. During the stop people stepped out to stretch their legs and I spotted this kitten trying to climb a coconut tree across the road.

I spend the next few mins taking pictures of the cat, who suddenly realized that he was a bit of a celebrity :P The cat climbed a part of the tree and started sliding down… he seemed a little confused at everything happening around him.

This is one of those unexpected events that just make your day :)
