It was simply the best race of the season. With Alonso, Kimi and Montoya starting at the tail end of the field and the track exactly opposite to what it was in qualification, the race start was expected to be dramatic. Guess what it was… Alonso managed to gain 8 places, Micheal made up 7 and Kimi made 5 by the end of the first lap.

2005 Brazillian Grand Prix Review – Montoya wins, Alonso Crowned Champion

Fernando Alonso became the youngest Champion in History at the 2005 Brazillian Grand Prix. The Emotional Spaniard took 3rd after a spectacular Mc Laren 1-2. No body could deny the youngest Champion who through out the season outdrove, outclassed and outlasted everyone of his competitors.

In the best Grand Prix of the year Kimi took the Chequered flag to win the second time in a row at Spa Francorchamps. Fernando Alonso crossed the finish line second to leave only a mear fromality to be finished in Brazil.
The race was wet almost throughout still not a drop of rain fell during the race. The top teams ran their cars from start to finish on intermediate tyres and the gamble payed off. At the start Michael Schumacher gained a place and looked threatening as the scarlet car’s Bridgestone tyres soared the circuit. It was an incident caused by the flying Gincarlo Fisichella,

As the Columbian national Anthem marked the end of the 2005 Italian Grad Prix… It was a German who knew his reign as the World Champ had come to an end.

A chain is only as strong as its weakest link.
Kimi and Montoya did cruel justice to the Mc Laren taking the two fastest times in Qualification. The unfortunate part is that Kimi changed is engine and will start at 11.
Alonso drove magificently to take the first row of the starting grid in tmrw’s race. The 2 BARs makeup the 2nd row.
