Fanaa a movie starring Aamir Khan and Kajol, got rave critical acclaim for the poetry included in the movie. I was hoping to translate all the poems but it didn’t fit well with the plan to include 31 different poems/lyrics in this project. So instead I will translate this romantic song that includes a couple of the best poems from the movie.

Mere Haath Mein is a song that talks about finding long lost love. It speaks of the protagonists’ struggles and satisfaction after finding each other. The lyrics of this song were penned by Prasoon Joshi and music composed by Jatin-Lalit.
