Khoobsurat hai woh itna is another song that I have loved for a long time now. Coming from a forgotten movie called Rog, the context of the song is what first caught my attention and realizing it the beauty of the words just came through.

This song was written by Nilesh Mishra for a unique situation of a man falling in love with the victim of a murder investigation. I haven’t watched the movie but its about an investigator who is solving the mysterious death of a woman and as he digs deep into her history slowly realizes that he is falling in love with her. The words are hauntingly symmetric to the idea of falling in love with someone you can never be with.

The music by M.M. Kreem adds character to the song. There are two versions of the song but I love the one sung by M.M. Kreem.
