The last 2 days have been one of the most exciting in my life… 35 of us mostly strangers to each other took part in the Sakleshpur Yedakumeri Trek which was physically and mentally demanding on all of us… Some took a detour half way(including me) and some braved the entire journey but all in all we had the time of our lives and not to mention the bonding and coming together to help each other…

Trip to The Mahamastabisheka…

Spur of the moment” is the current mantra and the Trip to Shravanabelagola will go down as one of those.

The initial plan was that Theju, Sidharth, Prasad, Pramod, Musavir, Varma and I will travel to SB in Sid’s Alto and a Santro. The planned time was leave 3 am, Reach there 5:30 am, Make way to top and spend most of the day on top of the hill and return by 9 pm.

Last weekend Team Applibase set out to spend a couple of days in Bandipur. Firstly special thanks to Anant… he got the booking done for us at Bandipur and without that we would have had a lot of probs wrt lodging(considering the Tiger Census and all).

The plan was simple… Go to Bandipur, enjoy Trekking and the Safari, Trek a mountain or two on the way back and be at Bangalore early monday morn. The execution was very different…

Club Cabana

Applibase decided to take a day off from work to relax and strech their legs. The destination Club Cabana on the outskirts of Bangalore.

We started at around 10 am about half an hour later than we planned. The ride to the resort was pretty uneventful except for that small traffic jam near Yehalanka (in front of a police station that too, must have been trouble). We were pretty unsure of the route (to put it lightly) but we caught up with one of the Club Cabana Buses and simply followed it to the destination.

The first impression of the place was its huge. The serene surroundings of the place was perfect for relaxing, the gardens extended till the eyes could see and the swimming pools looked really inviting.
