Days that are special to me

In the first weekend of this month, a bunch of my friends and I decided to drive down to the only drive-in beach in India. We had heard about the Muzhappilangad beach but what awaited us at the seaside was something special.
As I stood on the sidewalk and looked up at the sky, a sight greeted me… A sight that I hadnt taken time out of my otherwise useless days to acknowledge. The sky was cloudy with the imminent possibility of rain, the scattered sunlight from the sun, now close to the horizon, made the silhouette even more beautiful.
I had driven on this road over a million times in the past 25 years, I had walked it a few times but never ran it. Suddenly the overwhelming urge to run once on it overcame me, combined with the fear that I probably had very little time to do it in, almost had me in tears.
The pleasure of driving this stretch is simply unexplainable. Even on the hottest days, the beauty of a green cover made the drive soothing. I remember that on rainy days the trees almost acted like an umbrella and the cool wind left one no choice but to love and admire mother nature.
Lately I have been dedicating time to clean up my room, to the delight of my mother. Considering I have a lot of crap unused stuff stored away, I thought its the right time to minimize and put away things I dont use regularly to a proper storage. If you want to install custom storage cabinets and shelves in your home, you may consider hiring a Custom Closet Company in Philadelphia, PA.
A couple of days back I decided to take out all my old college books and move them. The main idea being that I could not find a couple of my old books and thought they are mixed up with those books. Fortunately I found the books I was looking for, but more importantly I found pieces of the past along the way.
Our first stop in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia was the beautiful Batu Caves. The caves are minor attraction compared to the spectacular Lord Murugan statue right outside the entrance.
The 140 ft Golden statue is the world’s tallest Lord Murugan statue and is breathtakingly beautiful. The perfect muse for a photographer, the statue stands facing the beautiful city of Kuala Lumpur.

The next stop in our tour of SE Asia was Kuala Lumpur. We were to spend two days at the beautiful Genting Highlands Resort and two days at KL.
We arrived at KL via Singapore on 22rd and set off immediately on a 3hr drive to Genting Highlands. This was my first experience with a country so drastically different from India that I was almost in awe the entire four days we were there.
