Magic, beauty, love and majesticity thats Narnia .Nothing can beat a child’s imagination and Narnia and its magnificent residents come to life in this extravaganza of color and special effects. The movie clearly created with kids in mind leaves you in a dreamworld enclosed in a Wardrobe.

When four kids forced to live away from their parents due to war find a desolate Wardrobe in an isolated room on the top floor they enter into Narnia. What is Narnia? Rang De Basanti – A Generation Awakens – A Review

Rang De Basanti

There are two kinds of people,
People who go screaming to their death,
People who go silently to their death,
Then I met the third kind….

Every now and then there is a movie that stands out… This one is of that kind. Everything about Rang De Basanti is magic pure magic. This for the record is only the third movie I have felt inclined to clap at the end of the film for its pure brilliance, the earlier two were Black (The best movie ever…) and Aviator (What can I say :) ). Renzil D’Silva and Rakesh Omprakash Mehra script this journey through youthful experiences and mature decisions flawlessly and provide their way of feeling patriotic.

Sue (Alice Patten) comes to India to make a documentry about her grandfather’s diary which accounts the rise of Indian Independence struggle in 1920 in the hands of 5 revolutionaries. Her pal Sonia (Soha Ali Khan) steps up to help her… Her search for her 5 main characters is in vain and while hanging out with Sonia’s friends she realizes that her friends fill the characters perfectly….

Neal n Nikki – Movie Review – A Waste of Time

(Lowest: Neal n Nikki Highest: *****)

I will never forget 10 Dec 2005 2:45 pm – 4:45 pm… The two hours of my life I wasted watching this Movie. I have no idea what drove me to go watch this movie but I want to forget this one in a hurry.

The movie is simply Dreadful. Tanisha looks like she is taking up the challenge to Mallika Sherawat… she does a decent job stripping in every scene in the movie. Sadly she looks (as my friend Vinyas put it) like a “Vamp”. Her ability to acting is invisible and she tries hard to make it up by exposing skin.

The whole movie is almost a Soft Porn flick. With bikinis and cleavage making more appearences than the starts themselves.

Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire – Movie Review

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Rating ***
(*: least, *****: highest)

The Dark Lord rises… Harry Potter’s fourth year at Hogwards turns out to be the year of the rebirth of the one who must not be named. The movie’s special effects are unbelieveable and why not its one of the costliest movies ever made (at a staggering 330 million $).

Harry’s fourth year is almost entirely about the Quidditch World Cup and the Triwizard Tournament, in which student representatives from three different wizarding schools compete in a series of increasingly challenging contests. However, Voldemort’s Death Eaters are gaining strength and even creating the Dark Mark giving evidence that the Dark Lord is ready to rise again…

The movie tries its best to match the book and falls short(dont all book based movies). The sad part is how short it ends up falling. Personally I felt the movie was disappointing but to look at it in a point of view of the screenplay writer… a 600 odd page novel(no dragging in the novel so almost every page added to the story perfectly) had to be made into a movie around 150 mins long. The movie by itself is good… a few of my friends who have not read the book but watched the movie loved it.

Emma Watson is gorgeous
