The Mehndi Custom

The Mehndi Custom is one of the most beautiful Indian customs. It is performed for important events like Marriages. It involves colouring the hand using a paste called “Mehndi”. This natural colouring is done by applying the Mehndi in a desired pattern on the hands and legs. The paste is retained on the body over night and washed away in the morning to reaveal its beauty.
