Flight of the Dragon…
The Dragonfly is possibly the most beautiful insect for a person who studies flight (with the exception of Bees ofcourse). Their twin wing structure, amazing balance and control would be awe inspiring for anyone who watches one fly in the open air. Last week I got the opportunity to take photos of a dragon fly. … Read more
Looking Back…
I was looking at my attempts to take a self portrait (for my last post) and remembered this blog in which the author uploaded a new self portrait every day. I thought about it and thought that the idea was cool and i should probably try something similar.
Well my photography skills leave a lot to be desired so a photo everyday is just going to be pointless. So I thought how bout one every month. This works out well coz most of my friends are mostly out of the country and ppl wont forget how I look, actually its going to be easier for ppl from whom I borrowed stuff from :P The second advantage is I will have this catalog of photos of how I looked at different times :P
Anyway this is just a silly experiment. I will put the photo behind a cut to protect you from the bad out of focus photos :P
So, here is the one for Dec 2008 :)
Reactions..
“Wait a second, something is different about you… Did you stop wearing glasses!”
“Oh my god! you finally did it!”
*scream* followed by more *screaming* (that too at a busy restuarant)
“huh… ahh I see the difference”
“Why? but why?”
“Ahh… kids, they need to keep changing something about them”
“You look so different… I can hardly recognize you”
(My response: “Damn! I knew I should have robbed that bank before doing this”)
“You look smart”
“You looked so much better with it”
“Ahh great… Now you will get girls” (Me: WTF?)
“Oh my god! you look like you lost 10 years”
“I cant look at you like this… why would you do that to your self”

Message From the Skies…
Astronomy Picture of the Day had written about this celestial event a couple of days back and I was really looking forward to watching it. I never expected it to be clear enough for me to capture from my point and click! Well the above two are the best of the pictures I managed :P
