After watching Formula One for a better part of 6 years, I have realized there are moments that as a F1 fan I will never forget. Pictures that are engraved in your mind forever…

At the start of this weekend that first pictures from Singapore did it. The gorgeous track basked in the beautiful artificial lighting is locked away in my memory. But this weekend had more to offer

One of my friends called me with about 25 laps to go, he was all excited about how Alonso had managed to lead the race and all I told him in a calm voice is “25 more laps to go or 45 min more, anything can happen. Will call you after the race.” It wasn’t that I doubted that Alonso could win… he has won more times that any other driver racing on that track. It was just that I could not believe that this was even happening.

I guess the only word I can think of is vindication :)

Ps: I now hate myself for not pushing for going to Singapore to watch the race live… This would have been the most perfect place and race to watch my first F1 race.
