I was literally blown over by the response to my new story. Firstly I never expected many to read it… considering it is very long compared to the usual length of my stories(about 5 times actually :P ). You expect them to tell you “Sorry Haas, I am still reading it… will finish it in a bit” but the shocker is when someone tells you “What I liked about your story is that I could read it in one go…. At 2am!!!!”

Well thats just the half of it… for the first time I actually listened to interpretations of the story. I normally dont ask for ppl to tell me in detail what they liked about the story… I didnt this time either but they were more than happy to divulge into the specifics s :) In return I told them what this story meant for me(only for the ones that spoke to me ;) ) They wanted to know my interpretation but thats something very close to my heart… so sorry :)

The most amazing thing is most of the ppl who had read it when they were talking about it, paused midway and said “I will read it again”… I have always tried to write stories that had multiple reading value, stories which you read again and again and get a deeper understanding of the characters each time… Unfortunately that almost never happened :( With this story ironically i did not try to write it that way yet it produced that effect! I must have done something right for a change ;)

There is one thing that amuses me, it is that I expected a specific question from the few(I only expected a few to get to the end) of the ppl that read the story but nobody asked it. Maybe it requires to think in a specific way to arrive at the question but I thought atleast one or two of the ppl that read it would ask it. The closest anyone has got the question is one statement one of the readers made but it was probably only vaguely related to what I had in mind… Anyway the only answer I can think of for that question is a :)
