When I am old, I am going to tell my kids and grandkids that I watched a Rocky movie in a theater

I said that to a friend when the movie had just started. She ofcourse gave me this look like “are you insane” I just smiled. A few hours later as we were stepping out of the theater I looked at her and said that line again… This time she smiled.

Today I did not watch a movie I watched a phenomenon… I know thats a big word but no other movie I have ever watched, which produced such an unanimous reaction from the audience like this one did. The screams and the awes echoed the theater and put us ringside for the amazing climax of the movie.

I know a lot of people thought Stallone was “beating a dead donkey” with Rocky ‘6’ but frankly 10 min into the movie and you realize that Rocky himself is joking about his age and so are everyone in the movie… Once you are past that you are thrown into nostalgic Rocky, and words make you relive the glory days of Rocky.

The Dialouges are simply brilliant… The two moments, one in the courthouse and one when Rocky’s son confronts him are indescribable. If that dialouge in the courtroom was even one line longer I could swear I would hv broken down into tears.

This movie is truly heartwarming and inspiring. I am not going to say ‘dont miss it’ or ‘its the best movie ever’ or ‘you must be a fool to miss this’ but I will tell you that of all the movies in the world I am proud to have watched Rocky :)
