This week’s list is slightly inspired by the wonderful Italian dinner I had a couple of days ago :)

- New year’s Day was not always celebrated on 1st of January. - Pepperoni is a spicy Italian-American variety of salami (a dry sausage) usually made from cured pork and beef – This confusion arose when we found this listed in the menu of a vegetarian Italian Restaurant. Turns out the Indian version is probably just chicken, in that restaurant it probably was Tofu; I will never know :D
