Google has launched its owl StatCounter clone. Google Analytics is a web stats program that gives you detailed (and good looking) stats about who visits your webpages.

It looks great and is not very difficutlt to install (like most stat websites are). Unlike statcounter it provides a huge space for storage of logs (SC gives only 100 latest visitor details). The noticable problem with GA is… its just too slow both in page loading and getting decent stats initially. Plus it does not give details about the visitors IP… so there is nothing like latest visitors(one of my most used features in SC)

My verdict use StatCounter and Google Analytics together (provided ur webstite’s load time is decent) both are good products and make the most of them both. (BTW I use them both :) )
