Alonso took the most important pole of the year for the Chinese Grand Prix. He will be start the Grand Prix from the front of the field alongside his team mate Gincarlo Fisichella who put up the second best time. Kimi qualified 3rd and will line up next to Button. Montoya and Micheal will make up the 3rd row.

It seemed like Kimi was probably heavier than the 2 Renaults with a nice fule load. This will help the Mc Laren stay out longer and push him to first when the Renaults pit. It looked like Montoya was pretty light on fule to help him qualify higher.

The Mc Larens have been faster all weekend but the real speeds can only be know looking at the fastest laps after the race. As for Fernando… his stratergy will be simple bulid up a lead of about 10 sec to the Mc Laren before pitstop 1 so that after Kimi pits he shall end up behind the Renault. Safety cars can only spoil the Renault’s plans… he should be looking to extend around 1 second per lap from the Mc Laren and I wont be surprised if he succededs at it too.

This race will decide who is the Constructor champs of the season and so All the best to the contenders :)
