Dev D is the perfect example of something you can hate or love but cant ignore.

Dev D is one of those movies for which I will not write a review, simply coz I cant sum it up in a few paragraphs. There is so much in this movie that I probably need to watch it a dozen times to let most of the ideas sink in.

There is so much in this movie from brilliantly themed music, inch perfect background score, brilliant characterization, play on perceived culture, celebration of classic and contemporary styles of film making, psychoanalysis of characters(in writing), respects to the earlier versions of the movie… and many more. There are some things about this movie that make more sense that it should… something that is damn rare in hindi cinema.

I wont say go watch the movie, but I will say that if you miss this movie you will have missed something unique and different.
