Professor at one of the IIM’s (INDIA) was explaining marketing concepts to the Students:-
1. You see a gorgeous girl at a party. You go up to her and say:
“I am very rich. Marry me!” – That’s Direct Marketing
2. You’re at a party with a bunch of friends and see a gorgeous girl.
One of your friends goes up to her and pointing at you says:
“He’s very rich. Marry him.” – That’s Advertising
I recently had a short stint with the driving school again. I got my car driving licence a few years back and had hardly touched my car since so my skill level was near amatuer again (well i guess the same cannot be said for riding a bike and driving a car.) This time around though I did not need to go thru the inital flusturation… but wanted to write this entry for those few weeks a few years back, I spent learning to handle the car.

The headache has reduced considerably but I seriously wish it was gone. I woke up at 10 am and after yesterday I was happy to feel much better. I decided to skip office as I clearly needed to take the rest and let this fever roll over. I must have slept atleast 10 hours today … Read more
My body feels like a pincushion and my head seems atleast twice its weight. I hate being sick for a simple reason… I dont get to do much.
I hate the smell of sweat and if ur sick and sleeping all day turst me u will smell it. I hate that my body feels weak… actually im in pretty good physical shape(health wise atleast) that helped a lot thru the day.
In the morning I felt a slight tickel in my throat. I hv had an history of throat infections and felt this one was another attack and it was. By the time I reached office my throat was paining and the Strepsils seemed to have not helped at all. In another hour my head was splitting and I realized it was getting really bad.
Frankly if I had left for home even 15 min late Im not sure if I would have made it.
