Caught Happy Feet a couple of days back. Considering its the Christmas season I was all game for a movie with a lot of snow :P

Anyway about the movie, every single person till now who has watched the movie has said it is brilliant and must not be missed but I beg to differ(like always). I was not very impressed with the movie, I agree with everyone that the quality of Animation is just mind blowing. But I did not enjoy this one half as much as I enjoyed the other animated movies this year.

I think the reason is probably that I watched March of the Penguins very recently and most of this movie is ‘inspired’ from that :P. Apart from the animation, Robin Williams is brilliant as usual and totally cracked me up. Nicole Kidman’s voice is amazing… simply amazing and I think Hugh Jackman had a cold when he read the lines you can hardly make out its the guy :P but its very hard for him to be less than perfect :P Elijah Wood was perfectly casted for the role of Mumble.

What I did like about the movie was the seamless transition from animation to reality and back. The scenes where (actual)humans interact with the animated characters is just too perfect and worth every penny of the ticket price.
