I watched Superman Returns, Pirates of Silicon Valley and March of The Penguins in the last couple of days. Dont hv the mood to do individual reviews so here are their quick reviews…

Superman Returns: One of the better adaptations from comic to movies, Superman finally returned to the big screen after a long time. The movie boasts of brilliant special effects and a strong story line. My all time favorite comic book based movie is Spiderman and this with all the hype could not come close. Yet it is a perfect weekend evening watch. I got to mention that the females in my group loved the movie coz they felt Brandon Routh looked really good ;) I personally felt Kate Bosworth looked gorgeous :) A special mention for the brilliant Kevin Spacey who plays Lex Luthor to perfection. So get the popcorn and enjoy the Last son of Krypton’s new adventure.

Pirates of Silicon Valley: This brilliant documentary is based on the rise of Steve Jobs and Bill Gates. If you admire either of them or have followed their lives this movie is a must watch. The movie was made for television and I watched it on DVD. I totally recommend this movie and frankly it gives a good look at what the two did en route to becoming the most powerful men in the world.

March of The Penguins: This movie is the best documentary I hv ever seen. The masterpiece takes you to the coldest place in the planet and follows the lifecycle of Emperor Penguins. The narration of Morgan Freeman is powerful and there are moments of awe, beauty and sorrow as we watch the Penguins fight odds to bring new life into the world. This is one movie everyone must watch and admire.
