Into the Blue… A Review

Into the Blue is another “treasure” movie. Its based on 4 ppl that discover one of the largest treasures of human hisory… the sad part is that they discover a crashed plane with 300 Kgs of cocaine too. Everything goes nuts in the 4 ppl lives as they dont have enuf money to remove the treasure from its resting place and dont want to go to the police with the cocaine for many reasons. As luck would have it the 4 get tangled into a maze being chased by the mafia who want their dough back.

Jessica Alba puts up another strong performace to add to her now extraordinary resume. She never misses an opportunity to impress even in an averaged sized role she has here. She looks just awesome and clearly its been a while since I have seen the “Dark Angle”. Trust me she looks so good you can just watch the movie for her its worth it. The rest of the cast is just that “the rest”… no special complaints but nothing extravagant to report either.

The story is weak in many places and has very much little to do with the treasure than I hoped. I was expecting a treasure hunt as the trailer promised but its way off. The movie is loaded with underwater footage of beautiful fishes and scenary.

Is this movie worth it… Well, If you like Alba go ahead treat your self to 100 mins of her. There is nothing much the movie teaches or “Entertains” you with. If you want a treasure hunt watch “National Treasure” thats a good “treasure hunt movie”. If you desperately want to watch a flick watch FlightPlan thats worth your money :P.
