Robin S. Sharma, The author of the world wide bestselling book “The Monk who Sold his Ferrari” was here in Bangalore on Saturday. I had the pleasure of meeting him and heard one of the best talks in a long time.

The book signing was supposed to be at Sapna Book stall and I promptly headed for the Majestic one. I was there on time… the signing started at 11 but it didnt take me long to realize that the signing is in the Jayanagar Branch. It took me 15 mins to make it there and all I was hoping was to get small sign.
As I entered the book shop I realized I was not the only one who was intrested in meeting the man. A decent crowd of about 50 ppl where there and so was the “Monk”.
A format introduction was done and after the regular garlanding and shawl presentation a queue was formed for the signing. The author was a perfect gentleman, he promptly shook hands and spoke a little and then signed the book. I had to convince a couple of guys behind me to take my pic with him. He asked me for my name and signed my book “To Chandrahasa, Shine”
I decided to stick around for the interactive session. Trust me it was worth it… I managed to record his speech of about 20 min. I recorded it in parts for the fear that my mobile might run out of space. The sound quality is not great but the speech itself was beautiful.
I managed to record most of his excellent speech and you can pick up the podcast here :

The sound is not very good considering I recorded it on my cell with a room full of people… still its worth the download trust me :).
