The Greatest Feeling Ever…
May 26, 2008 10:01 amShe was looking down at the cup placed in front of her. It wasn’t hard to figure out that she was going to ask me something… She looked up at me with those pretty eyes and asked “So what do you think is the greatest feeling you can ever feel?”
I thought for a second and replied “Vindication”… Her expression clearly was asking me to go on…
I continued…
I don’t know what the textbook definition of Vindication is. For me its that feeling you get when you achieve something that nobody believed you could. When people looked at what you were trying and called it impossible and even considered you a fool for doing it. When you belive in yourself so much that you take the positive out of everything and keep moving towards your goal… When you are flying blind and almost totally on instinct, just that feeling in your gut that you are heading where you want to be.
That feeling when you reach your goal… thats Vindication…
She smiled at me and looked down at her cup again…
