Early Saturday morning 20 odd ppl from Bangalore headed towards the outskirts of the city… Their motive FUN and…. FUN.
The journey started at 6:30 AM. “The Gang” headed towards the “Big Banyan Tree” where we had breakfast, before we headed again in direction of our destination “Savandurga”.
We made it to our destination by 10 Am. We were introduced to our guides for the evening and we started a trek towards the hillock. The trek took us 2 hrs and we climbed huge rocks and got some classic snaps of the magnificent landscapes.
After the trek we did some Rappelling. The experience was gr8 even though we did it for just 25 feet. When u are there horizontal to the ground 25 feet above it the Aderelin is awesome. I got the hang of it pretty soon but was so excited that i almost fell face first on the “wall” :)). Hemanth(Kulla) did the same :D.
We then caught some lunch and decided to do some river crossing simulation.
Meanwhile… The girls were totally petrified coz they had seen a snake. It seems Maggi opened the door of the lavatory and it dropped from the top… Scary.
We then helped it tying the ropes up. It took quiet an effort. The simulation was pretty good actually the rope at the center was atleast 35 feet above the ground. The guys and gals went one by one… Some did it pretty eazily and some needed help :P. I was one of the fastest at this one too(yes, im showing off :P ).
Vinny ended up with a rope burn on his neck. I got one on my hand.
We then did some cool puzzle solving and then headed back to confines of our homes…
