Last week was just crazy… Everything under the sun happened in and around me… Lets see if can keep this post short….
* Mom and Dad are out of town for about 12 days(since last monday) and I am home alone. This is the first time ever that I have been home alone for a such a long time…
* To add to the fun I had something on monday evening for dinner and ended up terribly sick on tuesday morning. I could not retain anything I ate and was weak as hell… Coupled with being home alone it leads to a lot of scary situations coming to your mind (Even thought of a nice headline where I my body would be found a week later :P )
* Took Tue off from office and nursed myself back to health, with the use of nurses for senior care for this purpose… That was a first ever! I have never missed my mom so much in my life :) but I am happy I went thru that…
* We have around 5 2-bedroom flats rented out in our building and dad took care of any problems they might get(water or electricity related mainly), we even have some automatic systems in place to take care of things like the water supply ect… Of all the funtimes for it to go for a toss, Monday evening it gave up on us… I had to really run around to get it working.
* The junior batch in Acting class had their presentation on Saturday… I was in charge of managing them and helping them out. The responsibility was shared but what it meant was that the moment I was feeling a little better all my free time went right to that. It did not help that the groups were way behind thier dead line and we had to literally keep the pres on life support.
* A friend of mine headed to US on friday, we met him to give him a very special gift and to wish him all the best
* All of my Saturday went at the presentation… The result was a beautiful evening with a huge crowd that just loved the show(Photos a little later)… Like the old saying goes “Alls well that ends well”
* Spent Sunday with my sis to make up for leaving her home alone on Saturday(she dropped by to give me some company :P ) We had a nice lunch, did a bit of shopping(I bought some cool sun glasses), watched ‘Namaste London’ and had dinner with my bro-in-law.
* Picked up my second most wanted book yesterday… The book was not available and I had to order it… Imagine my delight when the bill came to only Rs. 150 for it :) The book is “The Prophet” by Gibran Kahlil Gibran.
Thats the situation thus far… I need to attend another friend’s house warming ceremony later today, prepare for my presentation at acting class(which happens tmrw btw) probably even prepare for a show which might happen within a week and on top of that worry about dinner and breakfast for the next 5 days :P
Yep I know I have my hands full…
