Saturday was like wake-up call for my body… We had ‘Dance’ in Acting class and I realized how stiff I have gotten… I always figured that Tennis, Soccer and Basket Ball(started this on sat too :P ) would have made my body flexible… guess what I realized…
I could hardly move initially, certain things like stamina, stretching, balance etc came easier to me… It was the parts where you have to move parts of your body slowly that took the toll, I was very stiff and smooth motion was almost impossible. I was like muscles in my body had forged with their neighbours making it impossible for me to control them individually. I was moving like Arnie from Terminator for a while :P An hour or so later things got easier and I was having the time of my life… Damn, never knew dancing could be so much fun :P My classmates were kind enough to encourage me when ever I missed a step and by the end of the day I was not doing that very often :) Ever since the class, I just cant get out of the dance mood… Had to meet friends on Sunday evening and my body seemed to be in a mood of its own getting tuned to every beat around us.
I hv added about 15-30 min of dancing to my morning routine now :) hope I can do better than tell people that ‘I have two left feet’ soon :P
