Movie, Bowling and All That…

Another special day… another unforgettable evening. Most of today I was with my pals… Ppl I hv not hung out with in a while. We caught the movie “Fight Club” in hindi, whose short review will follow… Then we grabbed a “little” chinese lunch and relaxed at Corner House gobbling on ice creams.

We then headed for bowling and today was frankly the worst bowling experience in my life ever. I was a good bowler from the start, actually my first game without a strike came as late as my 20th or 25th game :P. But then I suddenly lost it had a really bad patch and untill today the last 5 games hv been my worst scores ever. Today was a different story though… a story of transition…

(This next para is pretty messed up… I dont normally write stuff like this but this is what I truly felt)
I always believed my bad bowling was coz of my stress(something I had become almost certian of). Each time I tried to bowl i tried to get stress out of my head and the results never improved… I just assumed I was really stressed out. The true reason for my bad patch was my concentration(my current stress levels for the record are very close to zero :) ) and the my point of view of the goal. I was too fixated on hitting the pin that I forgot everything I used to do(basically ignoring my experience :P). Well I realized the difference by the end of the game… so well that my scored doubled in the last 3 frames :)… I still only managed to come in third.

I remember the classic times with Kittu in my college… the way we guys used to hangout and go for “orange candy”… I didnt realized till today how much I missed it… We did most of the crazy stuff we do today(minus the orange candy). I drove Kittu’s CBZ again today and boy was she a “pleasure to ride” (if you know what I mean). Its the best bike i hv driven (including cruisers… I hv driven almost all bikes on indian roads :) ) and before I purchased the car I was inclining towards purchasing a bike(dream still alive).

Finally, thanks to all for the super time… it was a pleasure spending time with you guys. Special thanks to Kittu (Im sure he know why), im forever ur apprentice :)
