In the past year there have been four special occasions where my understanding and emotion towards music was changed drastically. The most recent of those events happened last evening. These events were occasions that were so beautiful that I took a moment to take a deep breath and cherished being alive.
My website is inching closer to 1 Lakh(a Hundred Thousand) page loads. I just happened to notice the number today and was thrilled to realize that I did not miss the moment entirely 
I put in a statcounter to count the number of visitors and page loads back in the end of 2005. Back then if someone had told me I would be starting at 6 digit number in about 5 years, I would have laughed at them

Well looks like I am getting old enough to forget dates. I forgot the only anniversary in my life right now 
This week marks the fourth year of me in the Blogging world. This small place on the web has connected me to countless people, some who would have probably forgotten me over time and some whom I would have never had the pleasure of interacting with, without it.
Needless to say, this page on the web holds a very special place in my heart. When ever I think about everything that writing has bought me in life, I feel nothing but gratitude.
So, here is a salute to Internet and the concept of blogging and a big thank you to my readers and online friends, the last four years have been a truly magical journey… A small toast for many more
There are moments in Kites that make you go ‘wow’ and similarly there are moments where you wonder what the writer was smoking, but thats where the balance was struck. Kites is truly unique in what it tried to achieve and for that the writers & director must be commended. They could have taken the movie in atypical Bollywood fashion but they dared to bend the rules and that must be truly understood.

The screenplay is what ruins this movie, the writers for some reason choose to be overly conservative. They even resorted to the old mantra of ‘turning a leaf’ and ‘doing the right thing’. The cons which were the heart and soul of a movie of this type are too frivolous…
