Hanging On…

Flower and the drop

Rain, Flowers and Macro are possibly my most favorite combinations when it comes to photography. This photograph was taken during a brief rain shower at a famous tourist spot in Kodagu(Coorg) called “Raja’s Seat“.

This was my third visit to the destination also known as ‘the Scotland of India’ and by far the most rainiest of my visits… Kodagu has a very different feel when visited in different seasons and while the rain meant a little discomfort, it also provided some picturesque moments and a lot of tranquility.

Red v/s Oranje

Just two remain, in the quest for the title of “Champions of the World”. Its the Reds v/s the Oranje!

Spain played like a team that knows its destiny. This picture of the Spanish huddle in today’s papers was the perfect inspiration to get my camera out…

We will have first time world champs no matter what, come Sunday… All the best, Champs…

* is a line from the song “Bin Tere” from the soundtrack of “I Hate Luv Storys”. For some reason this song reminded of this moment and this photograph.
* loosely translated means – “Even the wind pricks me, without you

Smile…

Smile

I’ve never seen a smiling face that was not beautiful. ~Author Unknown

I have an unexplainable connection with Buddhist Monasteries, during my travels I have consistently found peace and solace in the heart of these holy walls. This photo was taken during my first ever visit to a Buddhist Monastery. The monk with the prayer beads and the disarming smile was an obvious choice for the portrait.
