The Color Of The Season – Scarlet…

Ferrari & Renault F1 cars

I have been watching Formula One for about eight years now. During this time I have truly supported two teams and two drivers.

The first of the driver-team combos I followed was the Schumacher-Ferrari combination. Then in early 2003 I switched to Alonso-Renault. At the time I truly believed that only Alonso could step up and challenge the master, two years later he was the champion.

In the following years Alonso moved to McLaren but my loyalty always remained with Renault. He returned to Renault in 2008 and I was happy to see my favorite driver in my favorite team. Now after two years Alonso is moving to Ferrari, this time though my allegiance switches with him :)

I cant remember a season of Formula One I was more thrilled about. The return of Micheal Schumacher has only added to the anticipation for the next few months. And today was the launch of the new Ferrari F1 car! An event that served only like a trailer to the blockbuster that this season is going to be.

Something truly special is on the cards this year :)

We were scheduled to shoot our short film that day and I was a part of the cast, what was truly exciting for me was that this was my first experience with movie making. After about 3 years in Theater I was finally going to try something professional with movie making.

3 Idiots – Movie Review

3 Idiots Poster
Rating: ★★★★☆

Boasting of powerful star cast of Aamir Khan. Kareena Kapoor, R. Madhavan, Sharman Joshi and Boman Irani; and directed by the unfailing Rajkumar Hirani from the Munnabhai fame, 3 Idiots in many ways was one of the most expected movies of the year. The movie not only stood up to expectations but went on to blow away every single box office record there was.

3 Idiots is the story about 3 aspiring engineering students, their college life, their goals and also an commentary on the perceived idea of how education must be done. Based on a book, Five Point Someone by Chetan Bhagat, the movie combines rib tickling comedy with heart warming emotion to get the message to its audience.

Silhouette & the Sun…

Hanuman

The first of my trips just after college was a fun filled trip to Bandipur. On our return journey we stopped by the beautiful Gopalaswamy Betta.

This photo of the silhouette of a Hanuman statue against the sun was one of the few photos that looked good both in the camera and on screen… This photo also was taken on my first mobile phone, a handy K750i :)
