I watched The Bucket List a couple of days ago. I thought the movie was enjoyable and had loads of important messages. That seems to be the question on the minds of a lot of people. I have heard people calling the movie “overrated”, saying that “Rehman has made better music”, “there weren’t enough nominees”, “would it have won the oscar if an Indian had done it” and questioning the “depiction of India”.

The most ignored of the 3 indians that won the Oscar yesterday has to be Gulzar saab. Amoung all the celebration apparently a lot of people missed noticing that he had won the award for penning the lyrics of “Jai Ho!”, mostly because he did not pick up the award in person.
