What if a stranger approaches you and asks for (financial)help? What if he is a young boy… hardly 10-12 yrs of age? What if he looks genuine and the story they tell u makes you realize that you can really help this person? What if he sounds really genuine and speaks to you with really good english? What if he explains his problems clearly and says he needs the money for paying his fees?

2 days ago a boy approached me when I was heading back home. I heard the kids story and frankly it sounded genuine… My mind had just one question running through it “What if he is conning me?”. I guess I weighed my options and gave him some money(It wasn’t the full amount but was much higher than anything I would dish out to a stranger). All the way back I kept pondering if I was just conned or if I should hv given him the entire amount(even if it was many times how much I gave him).

The boy had told me that if I give him the entire amount he would return half the amount the very next day and show me a receipt that he had paid it…

Today when I went to office Shruthi told me that she and Anant had given the boy the money… What surprised me even more was that the boy approached them when they were leaving for home saying that I had given him money.

The boy has not show up still… We are not concerned for the money but more that we might find it hard to trust someone later… someone in genuine need of money.

Imagine this guys… A pretty girl(or a girl you hv crush on) walks upto you and askes you something, its very obvious answer but you just mumble something incoherent(and ur going to regret later for making a fool of yourself).

Just finished watching Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb and its gotta be the funniest movie ever. IMDB ranks it currently at 20th all time best movie and The best Comedy of all time… If you watch it you will know why

This movie is a dark comedy in the time of the cold war… Peter Sellers starts in a triple role(I did not realize this while watching the movie). I am not going to tell you more just that, this movie is a master piece by a genius and you will miss something wonderful if you dont see this movie

Exactly what I feel … But in the opposite way

A few months back I made a strict decision and changed my sleeping habits. Back in college I would go to sleep around 1 am everyday, most of the time between 9 and 1 spent on the net/watching a movie ect. The amount of sleep was managable and I made sure I made up some sleep in the weekend (I need a decent number of hours of sleep each day otherwise I just cant get anything done).

This system began to fail once I got busy in weekends…

Im not great in Hindi to English translation but Roughly translated the above means:
Every moment melts the distances between us,
In which fire does this dew burn…

(If this is inaccurate please feel free to correct me )

Those are the first veses of the song “Lamha Lamha” from the movie Gangster. That second line is just too beautiful and the song carries the magic right thru.

If you like that song you got to hear “Tu hi meri Shab” form the same album. Again brilliant lyrics particularly:

Roughly Translated:
