New Sense

Today marks the 5th anniversary of my blog. Its amazing looking back at the time I first created this space, I wouldn’t have ever imagined being where I am today… Thru the many phases of life in these years this space has always been and will hopefully remain a little sacred to me.

It was a cold sunday morning and after weeks of planning the day had finally arrived. We were scheduled to shoot our short film that day and I was a part of the cast, what was truly exciting for me was that this was my first experience with movie making. There is something magical about an event that has happened every single day for thousands of years. I have borne witness to it only a handful of times and everyone of those moments have been special in there own regard…

2009 ended for me with a gorgeous orange setting sun and the magnificent full moon rising over the ruins of Hampi… 2010 began with what can only be described as a pilgrimage of beauty and grandeur. To add to the happiness, I watched the first two sunsets of the year sitting over hill tops (one of those times conversing with a Bulgarian who was in love with India).

Something tells me 2010 will be fine

In the past year there have been four special occasions where my understanding and emotion towards music was changed drastically. The most recent of those events happened last evening. These events were occasions that were so beautiful that I took a moment to take a deep breath and cherished being alive.

My website is inching closer to 1 Lakh(a Hundred Thousand) page loads. I just happened to notice the number today and was thrilled to realize that I did not miss the moment entirely

I put in a statcounter to count the number of visitors and page loads back in the end of 2005. Back then if someone had told me I would be starting at 6 digit number in about 5 years, I would have laughed at them
