My life is slowly becoming a personification of “All good things come to those who wait”… on second thought its more of “Wait for the Good thing”
This has been the third time in a short while that I bought/ordered something and had to wait (much much more)longer than originally expected. It started with my laptop, that was just 3 days but those were 3 crazy anxious days! Then my beautiful bike that was a good 15-20 days(I lost count), that was extremely irritating! My close friends will vouch for it
This time its been a month and a half… and *crossing fingers* hopefully today is the day i pick it up

Once its done its hard to explain how it was. Words fail me even now as I try to get my mind back to the state it was for those 3 amazing minutes. I still find it hard to believe… I flew.
One cloudy Sunday afternoon in the outskirts of Bangalore, 9 people walked up and braced themselves to a parachute. Not knowing what to expect, each one took turns getting hurled up 300 feet in the air dragged by a jeep.
By the time we reached Jakkur Aerodrome we had seen it all heavy rain, tons of clouds and even parts with the sun beating down. When we arrived at the airfield we were thrilled to see people in parachutes in the sky. The wind was good and no sign of rain .
It took us a few mins to get registered and we had to wait almost 45 min before getting our turn. There were 3 starting points, we were on the right most one.
Satish was the first one up

I always wanted to try my hand at sketching and finally allowed myself to embarass my self .
I tried sketching Laetitia Casta the supermodel. Why her? well she took me over the edge. Yesterday I was shuting down my system and my wallpaper changed to this photo(that I tried to sketch). I use Webshots as my wallpaper manager and it changes the wallpaper every 15 min. I dont know why but I just wanted to sketch her. I took courage a few hours ago and decided to put pencil to paper and voila…
I started at the eyes and trust me, you will never admire beauty untill you look at it in the eyes. The magic of perfection can be discovered by only sketching it. I made a mistake doing the hair and after that it just went downhill. Her face has come out much broader than I wanted but Im happy considering it was my first attempt.
This sketch took me about 45 mins to finish. I had to improvise and use the only blunt pencil in the house. I did not find the eraser untill I was done with the eyes, nose and the hair so not much mistakes as u can see. The hair was the eaziest part and nose probably the toughest. I looked and relooked at the eyes and the lips to get it as perfect as I could but it still turned out like that .
Well, heres to many more sketches… seriously hope I get better at it

Again inspired by the many flickr users… Tried to photograph water drops in motion. Its tougher than we can think. This was the first one of the evening and got me real high and excited… Rest of the photos were pretty ordinary. Need a Tripod ASAP and have seriously started to think about a better camera.
More Pics and How I did this

After being inspired by Flickr I decided to try out a few tricks on my camera. The photos were all taken between 11 and 12 in the night and the editing of the images took about 45 mins. My Sony Ericsson k750i was used for the photos and leaving the timer feature no other feature was used. I dont have a tripod hence had to balance my camera on my book shelf, start timer and once the photo was done run back each time to restart the cycle

Its been about 3 months since my last entry in my diary. Today I will restart the age old tradition of writing private entries into my Diary again. Its bad sometimes when you cant seem to find the pen but its worth it when you look back into the diary…
Wonder why I had stopped it in the first place .
