Biker Down…
Met with a small accident yesterday 
Fortunately nothing much happened to me personally other than the jerk at contact… sadly the same cant be said about my bike
So it happened in the evening I was heading home and the light at the signal turned from orange to red. I came to a halt cursing my luck for being 2 sec slower… A few short seconds later I heard this skid behind me, anticipating a hit from behind(I have heard the sound of skidding tyres far too often 
) I just stood up a little… The next moment I felt the bang from behind and my bike was pushed about 5 feet in front. The little adjustment I made allowed me to quite literally walk away from the bike as it crumbled below me.
Anyway it turned out that there was an oil slick a few feet behind me and there were supposedly a lot of accidents at the exact same spot in the last few min! The bike looked fine but when I tried to start it I realized it had really taken the brunt of the damage. Ended up giving it for a much overdue service today.
Not having a ride for the day is too much of an handicap for me Had to cancel my plans for the evening… hopefully will have my noble stead with me by the end of the day
