2006 Bahrain Grand Prix - Results - Alonso Beats Schumacher to the Line…March 12, 2006 10:33 pmIt was exactly what the heading says… quiet literally Alonso won the Bahrain Grand Prix just 1.7 sec ahead of the Scarlet car. The race was probably the best race in recent memory with action all over the track and fights right thru till the end. BTW, my predictions was almost perfect… The only error was that I could not predict Kimi in the equation a mistake for sure I hv to give it to Michael he drove probably the best race in recent memory and the fight after the 2nd round of pitstops was simply beautiful. There were some amazing overtakings on the track started by the first overtaking of the season Alonso getting past Massa which was ingenious. I cant wait for the rest of the season Mood : impressed Spread the word:These icons link to social bookmarking sites where readers can share and discover new web pages.

well really a great race to start the season with. and i was particularly impressed with the debutant roseborg. he surely has got his father’s genes imbibed!and hope my favourite “the flying finn” doesn’t have any more mechanical failures this season, both in the qualifying and on the race days. who is ur favourite btw?
Mine is Alonso but I love racing and hv the highest amout of respect for Michael and Kimi, think they are both probably the best racers of all time. All I want is a season with top four guys finishing 10 points within each other that will be cool.
