Performance…

My niece, last evening sat intently and listened to me playing the violin. In doing so she became the first ever audience I have performed for. Once I was done, she gave a little cheer and smiled :) Not a bad review for lesson number 6.

One of the reasons I picked up the Violin was to play for my niece. Though she is just 13 months old she is amazingly receptive to music. I remember carrying her and humming random tunes to her as she stared at me. I still do it from time to time but the little devil loves to run from place to place in the house. Presently, only playing the violin makes her stop doing whatever she is doing and wait for me to finish :)

Im still months away from playing anything half decent but I am in no hurry, the person I play for loves what she hears :)
